Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday nights) | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 Labor and Delivery unit
- Monitor and assess laboring patients using electronic fetal monitoring and telemetry monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective maternal and neonatal outcomes
- Float to the antepartum unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Support patients across the continuum of perinatal care, including antepartum and postpartum settings
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Strong Level 3 Labor and Delivery clinical experience
- Current CPR certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Proficiency with electronic fetal monitoring
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Antepartum and postpartum nursing experience
- Telemetry monitoring experience
