Travel Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting as part of a float pool team
- Assess, monitor, and respond to critically ill patients across assigned ICU units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care delivered, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to float across ICU units as assigned
- Availability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
- Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit ICU capacity
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care settings
