Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day/Night Rotating (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as part of ongoing patient monitoring
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Rotate shifts as needed, including holiday coverage on at least every other holiday

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in ICU/SICU specialty (travel experience accepted for SICU requirement)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• Must achieve acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of SICU experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or SICU environment
