Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title
• ICU Registered Nurse (Critical Care Float Pool)

Location
• Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient critical care across a variety of ICU units, including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU.
• Float seamlessly among units based on staffing needs and patient acuity, adhering to float policy of working within units of equal or lower acuity.
• Administer and monitor ventilator management, IV starts, and telemetry as required.
• Perform advanced patient assessments and deliver comprehensive critical care to diverse patient populations.
• Maintain compliance with unit protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Valid compact or state RN license in Ohio.
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience in a similar ICU setting.
• Strong clinical proficiency in critical care procedures.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different ICU environments and team dynamics.
