Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Float to other Medical Surgical and Telemetry units as needed, including forensics and inpatient units
• Deliver safe, competent nursing care to a diverse patient population, including individuals from a correctional/prison background
• Participate in holiday rotation, working 3 of 6 designated holidays per assigned holiday group
• Complete required compliance modules and HealthStream exams prior to and at the start of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee state RN license or active compact multi-state license required at time of submission
• Active license with no pending status; current Nursys report required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and CPI (MAB accepted in lieu of CPI)
• Must be comfortable working with a prison/correctional population
• Must be available to work Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day per holiday rotation requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across multiple Medical Surgical or Telemetry units
• Prior experience in forensic nursing or correctional healthcare settings
