Long-Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN)

Contract | Days | Every Saturday and Sunday | 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Monitor and document patient condition changes, communicating effectively with the care team
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting
- Ability to begin assignment within two weeks of offer
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with weekend-only nursing schedules
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems used in LTC environments
