Travel RN – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holidays required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 15-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 (maximum 6:1)
- Perform patient transfers using appropriate transfer equipment including Hoyer lifts and sliding boards
- Conduct bladder scans, dressing changes, and medication administration
- Complete rehabilitation scoring documentation and maintain accurate records in the EMR system (Meditech/Pyxis)
- Participate in bedside report/handoff, hourly rounding, and ensure bed alarm activation per unit policy
- Float to Med-Surge, Telemetry, Renal, Urology, Orthopedic, and Overflow units as needed (ICU excluded)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated transfer training competency
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation nursing experience
- Experience with rehabilitation scoring documentation
- Familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis systems
