Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 13 or 20 Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit with a focus on short-stay orthopedic, urology, and plastic surgery patients
• Care for a patient population that includes a majority of joint replacement surgery post-operative patients
• Document and manage patient records using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling requirements and on-call as needed
• Float within the Medical-Surgical service line to meet facility needs as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or compact license required; IL license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Post-surgical skills in orthopedics or plastics (either one acceptable; both not required)
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements and float within the Medical-Surgical service line

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a short-term acute care facility setting
• Familiarity with joint replacement surgery post-operative patient care protocols
• Experience with both orthopedic and plastics post-surgical patient populations
