MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:30–20:00) | Saturday–Monday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of MRI examinations including brain, spine, musculoskeletal, cardiac, vascular, and body imaging for outpatient, inpatient, and ED populations
• Execute advanced MRI protocols including MRA, MRV, MRCP, and thoracic magnetic resonance angiography
• Prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with established safety protocols
• Start and manage peripheral IVs as required for contrast-enhanced studies
• Operate and navigate PACS and MRI unit systems accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and isolation precaution procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of MRI technologist experience
• Active ARRT (MR) certification required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Proficiency across a wide range of MRI modalities including ER/Trauma, abdomen, pelvis, chest, musculoskeletal, and neurological imaging
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and PACS systems
• Active NC or Compact state license (pending license acceptable for submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a community hospital environment serving outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients
• Familiarity with Visage PACS and Pyxis systems
• First-time travel technologists are welcome to apply
