Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room | Seasonal Travel

Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of elective surgical cases including Orthopedic, Spine, General, Cardiovascular, Plastics, GYN, Robotics, and Urology procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 23-OR main operating room environment
• Operate and manage OR-specific equipment in accordance with facility protocols
• Utilize Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems as required
• Participate in on-call rotation, including second call on select weekends and first call coverage for 1–2 shifts, with a required 30-minute response time
• Collaborate within a team-oriented, elective-only (no trauma) surgical environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care Surgical Technologist experience in a hospital setting
• Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) Certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) Certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Orthopedic and/or Spine surgical procedures
• Experience in Cardiovascular (CV) surgical procedures
• Flexible, adaptable personality with a strong focus on patient care
