Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, Sunday–Thursday, or Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 8 hours per day; 36 guaranteed hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting as the primary work environment
- Deliver home health occupational therapy services in the surrounding area on an as-needed basis, including occasional coverage at an alternate SNF or home health location
- Utilize electronic documentation platforms for both home health and SNF settings to maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Meet established productivity expectations for both the SNF and home health settings
- Collaborate with and work under the supervision of an onsite licensed Occupational Therapist
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) licensure or eligibility in the state of Nebraska
- Ability to work across both skilled nursing facility and home health settings
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn electronic medical record systems used in SNF and home health environments
- Ability to meet productivity standards as defined for each care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or home health setting
- Familiarity with HCHB (home health) and Net Health (SNF) documentation software
