Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for intermediate care, progressive care, and stepdown unit patients
• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Perform IV insertions and manage IV therapy
• Administer medications accurately and in accordance with facility protocols
• Collect and coordinate laboratory specimens and review results
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience (profiles with 1 year of experience subject to manager review)
• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Must be able to pass a telemetry competency test
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience monitoring telemetry patients in an IMC, PCU, or stepdown setting
• Strong general nursing skills including IV placement, patient monitoring, and medication administration
