Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required pre-start and annual facility modules prior to and during assignment
• Adhere to all facility compliance, safety, and clinical standards throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing; travel experience may be considered
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission – no exceptions
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification required at time of submission
• Active PALS certification required at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active TNCC certification preferred
• 18 months of Emergency Room experience within a single location preferred
