Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures, including thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, as well as during implantation of permanent pacemakers and ICDs.
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment including IABP and Impella; perform arterial and venous sheath removals and assist with closure devices.
• Manage procedural complications such as air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis reactions, and cardiac tamponade.
• Practice and enforce radiation safety principles using ALARA guidelines; perform and document quality control checks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, uphold aseptic technique, and provide physical and psychological support to patients throughout procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology or a related field.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License.
• ARRT Radiography (R) Certification.
