Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Adapt to and navigate an EMR system, including participation in an upcoming transition to EPIC
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with department protocols, policies, and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Emergency Department RN
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Stroke certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new systems and workflows in a travel assignment setting
