Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts; candidates with stress testing experience may rotate through weekend call approximately one weekend per month and holidays

Key Responsibilities

• Administer conscious sedation and recover patients post-procedure for Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Cardioversions
• Perform rhythm interpretation and continuous cardiac monitoring throughout patient care
• Conduct strong patient assessments at bedside in a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
• Participate in an average of 8 TEEs and/or Cardioversions per day across 2 procedure rooms
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and providers to coordinate patient care and workflow
• Utilize facility equipment including Defibrillator (Life Pak), EPIC and CUPID charting systems, and Accudose

Required Qualifications

• Active North Dakota Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care or Cardiac Care nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience administering conscious sedation and recovering patients post-procedure
• Proficiency in rhythm interpretation and strong clinical assessment skills
• Current ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Current BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Stress Testing procedures
• Background specifically in Cardiac Critical Care nursing
