Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition, demonstrating the ability to make sound independent clinical decisions.
• Initiate, prioritize, and implement individualized plans of care; review and revise plans as indicated in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and document patient responses to clinical interventions.
• Facilitate, coordinate, and evaluate patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and services provided during the stay and at discharge.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; serve as a mentor and preceptor while promoting teamwork and a positive care environment.
• Participate in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts; comply with regulatory standards and contribute to the Practice Governance model.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN).
• Minimum of two (2) years of acute care RN experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current NIHSS certification.
