Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-Hour Shifts) | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, supporting patients through the full perinatal experience
- Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring and telemetry monitoring throughout assigned shifts
- Administer and document care using an electronic health record system
- Float to the antepartum unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Strong Labor and Delivery experience with Level 3 acuity
- Antepartum and postpartum nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency (assessment required on first day of assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Telemetry monitoring experience
