Travel RN – ICU/Stepdown (IMC/PCU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry/ICU Stepdown unit environment
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in patient status
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in rotating weekend assignments and fulfill on-call requirements as needed
• Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license – temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/Stepdown or PCU specialty experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health record system
• Background in Telemetry, PCU, or Stepdown nursing settings
