Contract | Days | Full-Time | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:00) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a cardiac stepdown/telemetry unit at a short-term acute care facility
• Independently manage a patient assignment of 1:3 or 1:4 within a cardiac patient population
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float to other units or nearby facilities as needed based on skill set and patient care demands
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Current, valid Registered Nurse license (compact license must be active and in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care RN experience with cardiac care background
• Active ACLS certification required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Must have personal reliable transportation for this assignment
• Must be willing to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
• Familiarity with floating between multiple units or facilities in a health system environment
• Experience in a teaching hospital or large acute care facility (500+ beds)
