Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR / Pediatric Cardiac Surgery

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in a cardiac operating room environment, including pediatric cardiac surgical cases
• Assist with cardiopulmonary bypass procedures and ECMO cannulation
• Fulfill call requirements including 1–2 call days per week and two 48-hour weekend call shifts every 4–6 weeks, with a 30-minute response time
• Float within the hospital system as needed, including to an additional campus
• Maintain compliance with all facility documentation, background check, and onboarding requirements

Required Qualifications

• CST Certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in cardiac surgery
• Valid Ohio Single State or Multi-State Surgical Technologist license required at time of submission
• Full COVID-19 vaccination required; no medical or religious exemptions accepted
• No previous license disciplinary actions
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred
• Adult cardiothoracic surgery experience preferred
• Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
