Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room setting
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation with required passing scores
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules
• Adhere to all facility compliance standards, including background check and licensing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing (travel experience accepted for ER-specific requirement)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• Active PALS certification – must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• 18 months of experience within a single Emergency Room location
