Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Manage telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia recognition, and cardiac and vasoactive drip titration
• Administer blood products and manage IV insulin and heparin protocols
• Perform tracheostomy management and non-invasive airway support including CPAP/BiPAP and oxygen therapy
• Participate in rapid response team activations and deliver PCU/stepdown-level care as needed
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation
• Ability to comply with Ohio fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with wound care and wound VAC management
• Background in renal failure management and PCU/stepdown care environments
• Familiarity with rapid response protocols and high-acuity patient management
