Contract | Days, 06:45–19:15 | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical unit setting
- Monitor and manage patients receiving continuous IV drip medications within scope of practice
- Float within scope to the Emergency Department as needed
- Fulfill weekend requirements of two weekends per month
- Participate in on-call rotation of one shift per month and holiday rotation as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license or valid Compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of hospital Medical/Surgical experience
- New graduates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing continuous IV drip medications such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
- Familiarity with Emergency Department workflows and patient population
