Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Maintain a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in on-call requirements as determined by unit needs
- Float between like units or sister facilities as needed to support staffing demands
- Commit to working designated holidays as required by the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
- Ability to work weekends as required
- Must submit all requested time off at the time of initial submission; post-offer RTO requests may not be granted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Epic charting system
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to floating assignments across similar units
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
