Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations for acute care patients across a variety of diagnosis groups
- Deliver OT treatments with a caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day
- Work independently with a high degree of autonomy in care planning and clinical decision-making
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address patient needs in a complex acute care environment
- Utilize general acute care DME and document within a Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
- Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and a high level of accountability
- Strong communication, collaboration, and flexibility skills suited to an acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience in an acute care setting
- Comprehensive stroke experience
