Interventional Radiology Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) with call requirements. Weekday call 1–2 times per week (4:30/5:00 PM to 7:30 AM the following morning). Every 3rd weekend call (Friday 4:30/5:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Operate imaging equipment and assist physicians during special procedures

• Participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all IR procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• RT(R) certification required
• Current, active State of Connecticut radiologic technology license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior experience in a high-volume or acute care interventional radiology setting
