Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties within a cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Adhere to facility scheduling policy, including every-other-weekend and holiday rotation alongside hospital staff
- Participate in a variable on-call schedule as required by the department
- Maintain sterile field and assist surgical team throughout cardiovascular procedures
- Float to applicable units as directed by facility needs
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an OR/surgical technologist role
- CVOR-specific experience required
- Ability to work a variable call schedule including weekends and holidays
- Compliance with facility dress code (Ciel Blue scrubs for surgical staff)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a surgical or CVOR setting
- Familiarity with large acute-care hospital environments
