Travel IR Tech – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | 4x10-Hour Day Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full scope of interventional radiology procedures including structural cases (TAVR, MitraClip), carotid stenting, peripheral arterial cases, and lumbar punctures
• Assist with neuro-interventional procedures requiring specialized knowledge and technique
• Operate GE imaging equipment and document accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems
• Function as part of a procedural team with 1–2 RNs and 1–2 Techs per case, adjusting to case complexity
• Adhere to call requirements, including a monthly call shift burden goal of fewer than 15 shifts and response within 30 minutes when called in
• Maintain high-level communication with clinical staff, directors, and patients in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• RCIS or equivalent procedural/cardiology-centered certification required
• Demonstrated vascular IR procedural experience with knowledge of Cath Lab/IR protocols and procedures
• Neuro-interventional experience required
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong, high-level communication skills with ability to function independently in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CVT, ARRT, or RCIS certification preferred
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively with minimal supervision
