Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Weekends and Holidays Required | Must be flexible to meet unit staffing needs; block schedules are not available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 44-bed Emergency Room setting within a 270-bed hospital
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a general patient population spanning all age ranges
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:4–5, delivering safe and efficient emergency care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective treatment in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays, and flexible shift assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or Multistate (Compact) RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must be flexible with scheduling; block schedules are not offered
• Navy scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with high-acuity emergency department workflows and diverse patient populations
