Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Evenings | Variable shifts including 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts | On-call required on weekdays and weekends with holiday coverage based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-acuity Operating Room environment
• Assist with and support robotic-assisted surgical procedures using the DaVinci Xi Robot
• Participate in liver transplant surgical cases as a scrub or circulating RN
• Deliver nursing care across specialized service lines including Neuro and/or Orthopedic surgery
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities including weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by unit needs
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility compliance and credentialing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Demonstrated experience with DaVinci Xi Robot (required)
• Demonstrated experience with liver transplant cases (required)
• Experience in at least one of the following service lines: Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Surgery (required)
• Active BLS/BCLS certification, NIH certification, and valid RN license (compact or state license required at time of submission); must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ophthalmologic (Eyes), ENT, genitourinary (GU), plastics, or burns surgical service lines
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
