Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using the facility's electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit floating policies as needed based on census and staffing requirements
• Follow all facility attendance, dress code, and unit-specific policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room specialty experience
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Ability to meet call requirements as outlined by the unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech electronic health records system strongly preferred
• Familiarity with emergency department workflows in a high-volume hospital environment
