Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Postpartum (Night Shift)

Contract (13 Weeks) | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum patients, including high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries
• Deliver comprehensive newborn nursery care, including assessment and monitoring of neonates
• Perform IV placement and other unit-level clinical procedures
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic health record systems
• Float to Labor and Delivery (LAD) unit as needed per facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes and patient experience

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2+ years of hospital-based Mother Baby / Postpartum nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability to care for high-risk antepartum patients and postpartum recoveries
• Newborn nursery clinical experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Fetal Monitoring (Advanced FM) experience is a plus
• RNC-OB certification is a plus (not required)
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
