Travel RN – Labor and Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients throughout all stages of labor and delivery
- Care for newborns immediately following vaginal and cesarean section deliveries
- Circulate and recover patients undergoing cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
- Assist with and monitor procedures including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C, cerclage, epidural anesthesia, and tub labor
- Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditach electronic documentation systems
- Participate in weekend shifts and on-call shifts per unit scheduling requirements; travelers float first per unit floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NRP certification
- AWHONN Intermediate (not Advanced) or CEFM certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with CPN and Meditach documentation platforms
- Experience in a high-volume Labor and Delivery unit with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Demonstrated experience with shared decision-making practices in patient care
