Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | 10-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in an active Operating Room environment supporting a high-volume surgical caseload
- Assist with a broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, gynecology, urology, vascular, endovascular, and basic cranial/neuro cases
- Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including a DaVinci Robot, endovascular suite, neurospine microscope, and hysteroscopy pump
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio and uphold strict sterile field and patient safety standards throughout all procedures
- Participate in assigned stay-late call coverage during the week and occasional Friday/Saturday overnight call, as well as holiday PRN call
- Document and chart accurately using the facility EMR system (Altera)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Scrub Technologist
- Demonstrated experience with orthopedics, total joints, general surgery, robotics, basic endovascular procedures, urology, and neuro cases
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating room setting
- Willingness and availability to participate in call coverage including weekday stay-late and occasional overnight weekend call
- Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative, professional demeanor
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro surgical experience strongly preferred, particularly for call coverage support
- Prior experience working with robotic-assisted surgical platforms, including DaVinci
- Familiarity with Altera EMR or similar surgical documentation systems
