Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures independently as the sole NMT on shift within a low-volume hospital setting
- Operate GE nuclear medicine equipment (GE experience required)
- May float to outpatient center and additional affiliated locations as needed
- Participate in required holiday call coverage (must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Complete facility onboarding modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications
- Active California Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
- NMTCB or CNMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- GE equipment experience required
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
- LA fire card required within the last 30 days prior to start
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered local and are subject to local pay rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Comfort working independently in a small-team, low-volume hospital environment
- Flexibility to float between multiple affiliated facilities within the state
- Experience with outpatient nuclear medicine imaging settings
