Key Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to a primarily adult patient population
- Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 20 patients per Radiation Therapist
- Operate and monitor radiation therapy equipment in accordance with established protocols
- Document patient treatment records accurately and in compliance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the oncology care team to ensure safe and effective patient care
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas Radiation Therapist license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
- Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius to qualify under travel contract terms
- Must be able to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in an oncology or cancer treatment setting
- Experience with adult patient populations in a high-volume clinical environment
