Contract | 13 Weeks | Day Shift (0700–1930) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays As Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a cardiovascular med/surg unit with a full patient ratio
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms for cardiovascular patients
- Float to other units within the facility in an RN capacity, assuming a full patient ratio as needed
- Participate in orientation scheduled every Monday (16 non-billable orientation hours)
- Adhere to weekend and holiday staffing requirements as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Passing EKG test score of 80% or higher required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2+ years of RN experience; new graduates are not accepted
- Cardiovascular nursing experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a cardiovascular or telemetry unit setting
- Comfort with floating to varied units and adapting to different patient populations
- Familiarity with med/surg cardiovascular patient care protocols
