Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / NICU (RRT)

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac unit
• Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
• Float within scope of practice to meet unit needs based on experience level
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification through NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license required and must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 4 NICU or Pediatric Cardiac setting
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
