Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / NICU (RRT)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a Level 4 NICU and Pediatric Cardiac unit within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Deliver age-appropriate respiratory care to pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Document patient care and clinical findings using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to meet unit and facility needs
• Participate in emergency response activities as required, including potential hurricane season emergency response team assignments

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Background in Level 4 NICU or Pediatric Cardiac care settings
