Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | Rotating Weekend Schedule | Onsite — Rotating schedule: Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday | Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and digital X-ray imaging examinations in a freestanding emergency department setting
- Operate GE 64-slice CT scanner, Konica digital X-ray room equipment, and Konica digital portable unit
- Conduct a broad variety of emergency department imaging exams; no outpatient imaging required
- Document and manage imaging studies using Meditech EMR and Synapse PACS
- Collaborate with a small, close-knit team consisting of imaging tech, nursing, and lab staff in a 10-bed unit
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT)
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
- Trauma imaging experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an emergency department or fast-paced acute care imaging environment
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR and/or Synapse PACS systems
