Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a wide range of surgical service lines including general, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), robotic, hybrid rooms, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatobiliary
• Circulate in the OR as the primary function; scrub experience is not required
• Float within the OR float pool as needed based on unit demand; schedule will vary by day and does not follow a block schedule
• Participate in late stay coverage approximately four times per 13-week period, remaining until night shift teams are available or rooms conclude
• Care for adult patient populations across all assigned service lines (pediatric OR is a separate unit)
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations, including working two of three holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be on file at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Ability to commit to a full 26-week contract; shorter durations will not be considered
• Availability to work a variable day schedule with limited time off; excessive time-off requests cannot be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical service lines in a high-volume, large-scale hospital setting
• Familiarity with robotic and hybrid OR room environments
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or similarly complex acute care environment
