Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an Oncology Pod Emergency Department setting
• Float to additional units or areas as required by the facility
• Perform and maintain proficiency in IV starts
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and respond appropriately to findings
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
• Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license – compact or Ohio state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Active certifications required: BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (Charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references accepted)
• Locals are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Experience with telemetry monitoring in an acute or emergency care environment
