Travel RN – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform IV starts and blood draws
- Assist with TPT placements
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including intensivists, respiratory therapists, case management, and dietary staff
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR systems
- Demonstrate ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced teaching hospital environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Kansas
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CRRT experience
- APHON certification
- Pediatric teaching hospital experience
