Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/ICCU unit, monitoring and responding to cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
- Perform and assist with procedures including TEE and Cardioversion
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic health records system
- Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy
- Adhere to facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License — Temporary licenses will not be accepted
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience on a Telemetry unit
- Minimum 2 years of travel nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system strongly preferred
- Familiarity with TEE and Cardioversion procedures
