Travel RN – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Perform standard ED procedures including care for Level IV trauma patients
• Support primary stroke center protocols and NIHSS assessments
• Participate in chest pain accredited care including PCI/STEMI response available 24/7
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification and NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records system
• Experience in a Level IV trauma or stroke center environment
