Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM | On-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks (Monday – Sunday)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans to ensure optimal image quality
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions
- Review images for quality and completeness prior to submission for radiologist interpretation
- Participate in on-call rotation approximately every 8 weeks, covering Monday through Sunday as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Active state licensure or eligibility to work as an MRI Technologist in Illinois
- Demonstrated experience performing MRI procedures in a clinical setting
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital or acute care imaging environment
- Familiarity with a variety of MRI protocols and patient populations
