Contract | 13 Weeks | PRN | Days | Facility Work Week: Sunday–Saturday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care/intermediate care facility setting
• Care for a specialized patient population with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ranging in age from 9 to 65
• Manage and monitor residents requiring G-Tube (gastrostomy tube) care and feedings
• Assess, document, and communicate changes in resident condition to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine or compact eligibility
• Flu shot required prior to start
• Demonstrated experience with G-Tube management
• Ability to begin assignment ASAP, pending compliance clearance

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a long-term care or intermediate care facility (ICF) setting
• Experience working with patients who have intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Comfort working with a wide age range of residents, including pediatric and adult populations
