Travel Registered Nurse – Orthopedic (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic/Medical unit with patient ratios of 4:1 (Spine) and 5:1 (Ortho)
- Perform and manage central line care, blood transfusions, and foley/straight catheterization procedures
- Operate and monitor telemetry equipment, epidurals, and PCAs in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians across an 18-bed unit
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of current, acute care hospital Orthopedic experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience in Orthopedic and/or Spine nursing
- Medical/Surgical nursing background
