Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Three 12-hour shifts per week | On-call required | No block scheduling

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine mental, physical, and spiritual needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary health care team
• Provide patient and family education, explanations, and instructions as appropriate
• Apply clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in accordance with facility standards
• Contribute to a healthy workplace environment through professional communication and conflict management

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Operating Room clinical experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a perioperative or surgical services setting
• Familiarity with Core Measure responsibilities related to patient care
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development
